Profitable Business

The latest court case on NKF has re-ignite some interest to the Charity scene in Singapore. Uncle Casius cannot be help to think that Charity is indeed on of most profitable "business" (if you agreed with Mr Dulai opion).

Firstly, Charity has not tangible product to sell. You are selling the misfortune of others and expliot on public sympathy. As a intangible product, you do not have handle issues like product cost, inventory control, providing warranty etc.

Secondly, Charity has low start up cost. You just need to register with the relevent authority and lock on to a target that you can exploit. Well, since the world is full of misfortune or all kind of illness, its not too difficult to just pick one.

Thirdly, lower cost of publicity. Under the banner of "Charity", most media will be willing to settle of lower fee. if you are innovative enough, you just need to call up the one of the Chinese night paper to tip them about one of the sad stories you have in your file. The indirect way of publicity is always a more effective way compare to buying advertisment space.

As can be seen, Charity is just one of the thing that met the above criteria, Uncle Casius do not want to elaborate further as it could be quite controversial... but this should be quite obvious!
